About

I am Dr. Tarun Yadav, Assistant Professor of Physics at the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES), Dehradun. My research focuses on computational modeling, spectroscopy, molecular electronics, neurotransmitter-nanomaterial interactions, and quantum chemical simulations. Before joining UPES, I served as a Chanakya Postdoctoral Fellow at iHub Anubhuti-IIITD Foundation, New Delhi in collaboration with Institute of Science, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, India and as a UGC-D.S.Kothari Postdoctoral Fellow at Institute of Science, Banaras Hindu University. I also served as an INSA Visiting Scientist at the Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science (IACS), Kolkata, and earlier at Jadavpur University, Kolkata.

Experience

I am currently serving as Assistant Professor (SS) of Physics at UPES, Dehradun.  Previously worked as a Chanakya Postdoctoral Fellow at iHub Anubhuti-IIITD Foundation, New Delhi, and as Assistant Professor at IES University, Bhopal. I completed prestigious UGC-DSK Postdoctoral Fellowship at Banaras Hindu University. I also served as an INSA Visiting Scientist at the Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science (IACS), Kolkata, and earlier at Jadavpur University, Kolkata.
